Module Description
The „USB 51-868“ Module enables embedded systems networking among each other and with PCs with a minimum extend of development. The Module is equipped with UART, USB, ADU and digital I/O. Therefore, the Module can be used for measurement technology, controlling, monitoring technology and control engineering. It is a module of Receiver Class 3 (according to EN 300220-1) and therefore must not be used for safety-related applications!

The following features are supported by the hardware and system software allows you to:
• USB interface • UART interface (baud rate: 1200, 9600, 19200, 57600, 115200) • RF gross data rates: 12.5 50 100 200 kbit / s • 3 integrated AD converter (10 bit) • 2 digital inputs 3.3 V (5V tolerant) • 2 digital outputs • Real Time Clock with Sleep / Wakeup functions for the module • Integrated antenna • Addressing the modules (max. 255 modules) • Parameterization of the radio protocol (number Retrys, broadcast to all) • 3 channels (HF - data rates dependent) • USB powered or 3.3 V supply • Readable fi eld strengths • Adjustable output power • LED for receiving control • Easy to update the system software via UART • Dimensions approx 47 mm x 34 mm (h ≈ 9mm with USB socket)
All settings and confi guration commands are made via a terminal, similar a UNIX shell or a Windows command prompt. The terminal program uses either via USB or UART on the hardware, while the hardware independently detects which port is used. For all the above functions / features are easy to use commands present. Even the help functions are implemented. Customized changes / enhancements to the system software are available.
